Vacuum deposition is ; We apply a technology called Vacuum deposition(evaporation) to make films onto substrates.The basic idea of it is that, holding a substrate, which expected to coat, into a stream of vapor of molecules to be deposited until they become a specific thickness on the substrate. It can be said, like pictures below, it is an industrial application of a simple phenomenon, such as looking into boiled water with wearing glasses causes steam shade on the lenses. Actual optical thin film is heated up (to be vaporized) in vacuum chamber to prevent the disturbance to the film material to reach the substrate by the air.
